Plot
After the events of The Batman (2022), Oz Cobb, aka The Penguin, stages a play to seize control of the criminal underworld of Gotham. Aside from the Bat-signal in the final scene of the season finale, we never got our Robert Pattinson cameo in “The Penguin.” In this short video, IMDb attempts to answer: Where was Batman?.

However, for his own series, the character is depicted as an occasional tobacco user with a penchant for cigars. An umbrella falls and the logo changes to the Warner Bros.
The Graham Norton Show stars Lady Gaga/Demi Moore/Colin Farrell/Richard Ayoade/Jack Savoretti (2024)
logo. The first episode is a direct continuation of Matt Reeves’s; I think people who haven’t seen “The Batman” will be a little lost.
While there are many more clever lighter moments than the movie, it captures the film’s aesthetic and dark tone well
But I watched “The Batman” a while ago, and this show does a commendable job of quickly picking up where the movie left off and not getting bogged down in a didactic retelling. As in “The Batman,” “The Penguin” does a great job of portraying a stereotypical mafia “street guy”: reckless, dirty, mercurial, and quick to violence, but intelligent, cunning, and able to read people.
But so far, it’s off to a good start
The character may have nothing to do with the comic book version, but he’s interesting in his own right. I have my doubts about the show that casts “The Penguin” as a teenage sidekick, and I don’t know if the machinations of “The Penguin” will be enough to sustain an entire series.
