Fernanda Torres, a Greek heroine marked by tragedy, plays the role of her life with delicacy, never falling into excess or caricature. The detailed script, the fine script, the natural interpretations, the hand-picked soundtrack, the precise editing, everything contributes to the director being able to convey exactly what he had to do. Since I knew the story, I had read the book on which the film was based, and in addition to the reports about it, my attention was drawn to the cinematic solutions used by the director. He manages to make this particular story something universal, capable of communicating with an audience anywhere in the world.
